This eclipse picture was taken by Jeremy's sister, Hailey, from her apartment in Dallas. Pretty amazing, isn't it?!
Yesterday as we anticipated what could be and how the Lord may act in the hearts of His children, Jeremy and I experienced His peace and sat in awe of His glory. I was writing in the office, and Jeremy was moving about the house with a bit of nervous energy. The thoughts of recent warnings and visions kept stirring within him and left him uneasy and not wanting to go outside. As I was writing, I felt something shift. The atmosphere changed and I could feel it. The same way that I wake up in the middle of the night if there is any movement from a child, or I can feel a storm coming. I got up and walked through the house to the back door and told Jeremy, "It's happening, I'm going outside to sit on the swing. It's ok if you want to stay in." As soon as I stepped outside, I could feel the effects of the eclipse. My head was buzzy, I was nauseous, and I felt weightless in my body. I looked back as Jeremy reluctantly followed me holding a hammer. He clung to what he was using prior to me rushing out to experience the majesty of the Lord, so we will assume he forgot to lay it down and wasn't expecting to wield that hammer like Thor. We walked to the wooden swing hanging in the tree overlooking the property and watched everything grow darker and commented on how strange it felt. We did not experience great darkness as some did, but it was glorious all the same.
Rosh Chodesh Nisan for the Hebrew Year 5784 began Monday, 8 April 2024 and ends at nightfall on Tuesday, 9 April 2024. The command to sanctify Rosh Chodesh Nisan, the first new moon, as given to Israel in Exodus 12:1 shows the need to observe all new moons and holy days as revealed in the Torah. The celebration of Rosh Chodesh Nisan honors God as the Creator, Master and Controller of time. The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt, "This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year." Exodus 12:1 Thus we enter into the Passover Feast soon starting the evening of April 22 through April 30.
The eclipse ushered in a newness and change of seasons. We may not know the effect it had on all the hearts of God's children, but we know each person holds a unique experience in their relationship with the Father and we hope that everyone felt His movement and majesty in the Heavens. To Him be the Glory!
"And yet the Lord is waiting to be merciful to you. He is ready to take pity on you because He always does what is right. Happy are those who put their trust in the Lord." Isaiah 30:18
Eclipse pictures are like opinions...everyone's got one and they're all different!
This is ours.
