The Wolf, The Rooster, and The Hen.

Revelation 5:5: "Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered."

I am including this here for our readers. This was originally written in my blog for the Times of Israel. The link to that blog is above.

“And He said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.” Numbers 12:6

Our divine purpose in this life is to glorify the Lord. There is no greater desire in me than to serve Him as an obedient vessel, so my surrender to Him is necessary to accomplish His will through me. I am a Gentile believer in Jesus the Messiah, and Adonai has given me a heart for the Jew. Full surrender does not mean I get to withhold His revelations out of fear of what others may say, but that I acknowledge it is God alone we are to fear, and Him alone that shall be glorified. “For we speak not to please men but to please God who tests our hearts.” 1 Thessalonians 2:4

I was given a dream in the early morning hours of June 25th. In the dream there were three animals, each animal representing a significant thing/person. There was a wolf, a rooster, and a hen. The wolf was on the left closest to me, the rooster was in the middle and the hen was on the far right trying to escape. The rooster was going after the hen, and the wolf was going after the rooster. There was a woman to my left that just stood there and did nothing, she represents the people watching the actions of the wolf and the rooster.  Each time I tried to call the wolf off from advancing towards the rooster, he turned and growled at me. He was a sleek, stream-lined dog that was in low stance as if ready to attack. The rooster was dealing with the wolf behind him and the hen that he was trying to pursue and peck at. The wolf would continually show his teeth to me when I tried to divert him from going after the rooster to intimidate me.  The rooster didn’t appear to be too concerned about the wolf. He was aware of his presence but wasn’t afraid of the wolf. The wolf looked like it was about to devour the rooster, and he was angry when I attempted to thwart what looked like a sneak attack on an unsuspecting rooster. The hen just wanted to be left alone. The revelation that was given to me regarding the significance of the animals was this: The wolf represented Donald Trump, the rooster represented Israel and their pride, and the hen represented the innocent and oppressed that are caught in the crossfire between the other two. The hen is the one effected by the actions of the wolf and the rooster. What I found to be more significant than the dream itself was the interpretation of it that was given to a child. I knew that I was going to share this with others, and I felt pulled to ask my grandson to draw my dream. After explaining to him that he will do this not in his own strength but with the Spirit in him, he went to work. I gave him minimal information because I wanted this to be Spirit lead and not prompted by me in any way. I drew a very rough picture of the placement of the animals and that was all he was given.

As you can see, I'm not just a writer. I am a skilled artist as well.
As you can see, I'm not just a writer. I am a skilled artist as well.

I then placed my hands on my grandson and prayed to the Lord. I reminded the Lord of the words He spoke to Jeremiah. But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a youth’; for to all to whom I send you you shall go, and whatever I command you you shall speak. Be not afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the Lord.” Jeremiah 1:7-8 Before my grandson began to draw, I told him to close his eyes and ask for the Lord to show him what to draw, then I left the room.

I don’t know what I was expecting to see, but it wasn’t this. I looked at the canvass for a while as my grandson explained it to me. As tears filled my eyes, I was humbled by such a powerful witness to an almighty God through the vessel of a child. I expected to see three animals drawn on a canvass. What he drew was far deeper and more revealing than the dream itself. What we witness in this war is nothing compared to the spiritual battle that is going on that we cannot see, and the Lord allowed a child to remind us of this.

(The Lord intervenes and brings the hen through the narrow way on the other side into a safe place.)

This depiction of the wolf, the rooster, and the hen can all be summed up as a reminder that Adonai holds all of this in the palm of His hand. At His command, the destroyer and the restrainer serve the Lord of heavens armies. The wolf can only advance as far as the Lord allows, Israel shall once more be reminded that their pride will not be in their name, but in the name of the God of Israel who can give and take victory from a Nation. The hen will not be held captive forever by the pride of war and the power of men. All of this is reigned in and driven forward by the Lord of hosts. We need to stay in the Holy Scriptures and look to the ancient ways and follow the paths that point to the prophetic times we live in now. Daniel was given visions and dreams that told what was to come in the end of days. We would be foolish to look to our own understanding when our merciful Lord has given us a map to discern the seasons and times of His messages through His prophets. We see and feel the effects of a physical war, but Daniel was shown a glimpse through the veil of the spiritual war that is happening all around us. “The prince of the kingdom of Persia (Iran) withstood me twenty-one days; but Michael (Angel of Israel), one of the chief princes, came to help, so I left him there with the prince of the kingdom of Persia and came to make you understand what is to befall your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.” Daniel 10:13-14

Time and again, the Lord has shown His hand to be with Israel by revealing one of his heavenly soldiers to someone. We would have a lot more people on their faces in humility if they could see who the Lord has sent to go ahead of their battles, and the great multitude of angel armies that surround us. If we cannot recall this on our own, we need to remember His words and stay in constant prayer and thanksgiving for all the Lord does for us and all the things He goes ahead of to accomplish for our good and His glory. Faith is believing in what we cannot see. “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by faith, the men of old received divine approval.” Hebrews 11:1-2 We cannot see His Holy angels surrounding us, but we know they are there because He gave us witnesses to this and we believe the word of God as divinely inspired truth. Our faith in God is based on the word of witnesses, and our belief in what they wrote. His promises and His covenant are all based on our faith in what we were taught by everyone that came before us, and all He asks is that we believe in the One He sent. Either we have complete faith, or we have none at all.

My dream is not mine to hold, but to share as a witness to others. Your measure of faith determines what you accept and reject from scripture. I believe what the Lord revealed to the prophet Joel when He said, “You shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I, the Lord, am your God and there is none else. And my people shall never again be put to shame. And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit on ALL flesh; your sons and daughters shall prophecy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Even upon the menservants and maidservants in those days, I will pour out my spirit.” Joel 2:27-29 This pouring out of the Spirit of God will be upon all flesh. What the Lord says will be done will not exclude any Nation because we have determined them to be an enemy, for they all have flesh as well. The Jew and the Gentile will prophecy in the name of the Lord, and all who call upon the Lord will be saved.

For the hens,

"For He delivers the needy when he calls, the poor and him who has no helper. He has pity on the weak and the needy and saves the lives of the needy. From oppression and violence, He redeems their life; and precious is their blood in His sight." Psalm 72:12-14
