Cheerful Givers

"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:6-7

Sometimes we hear or read a story about someone or their passion and that passion lights a fire within us, and our spirit shouts, "I love this! I want to be a part of this journey! What can I do?" Well, if you read about our tribe and the call the Lord has made upon us, and you feel it within yourself to give towards The Refuge Ministry, then we are so thankful for that stirring in your heart. We encourage you to pray about it and do so with a cheerful heart. There are a few things we want you to know before you give:

Jeremy and I do not have full-time jobs, we work for the Lord and are servants to obey and abide according to His direction. Jeremy is a combat veteran that served 3 tours during wartime in Iraq. Our Lord was with him through-out this sacrifice that he made to our country, and we feel that the Lord directed Jeremy down that path so that we could go down this current path without needing to maintain jobs. We are blessed to be able to devote all our time and effort towards the Lord and this call. Jeremy is a 100 percent disabled veteran that also collects social security due to that disability status. The Lord has provided for this tribe all that we need. We are not wealthy in money, but wealthy in love, we have enough, and the Lord sustains us.

That being said, we want all those that choose to bless The Refuge Ministry to know we collect no salary for our work for the Lord. The entirety of your blessing will go towards the Refuge. At this time as we wait for the Lord, all donations wait in an account for the direction of the Lord. When the Lord revealed to Jeremy what the Refuge was to look like, He also told Jeremy that "He would provide the means to do this" and we believe Him as He has continued to show forth his promises to us. We have had many people feel in their heart that they are to sow into this blessing to others, so we decided to go ahead and provide a space to give if you feel called to do so. It will take many hands and hearts to build the Refuge and as one body in Christ we are thankful for your obedience in this call that the Spirit has stirred within you.

If you require assistance with your donation or need to speak with us, we would be more than happy to talk to you!

We thank you from the depths of our hearts and welcome you into this exciting call as a witness to the amazing works of our Almighty God.

May the Lord bless you and keep you.

May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.

May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

Thank you for your donation!

We do not offer a set tithing capability on our site for an intended purpose. We do not want you to set a monthly amount and walk away knowing that it automatically comes out therefore you can put it out of your mind as it withdraws on its own. Let us not be absent-minded in our giving, but to come to the Lord intentionally as a form of worship as we be present at each tithing offering in prayer and petition. As the Spirit leads you to bless others, acknowledge His presence at the stirring of your heart. Be in prayer for those that will receive your gift and come to the complete knowledge that blessing others fills our cup knowing that it goes well with our soul in agreement with our Lord Jesus when He said, "it is more blessed to give than receive."
