The Prayer Chapel

"And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." Ephesians 6:18

One day Carrie's mother sent Carrie a video of a woman that had a small prayer room inside her shop. It was a place that people would come and place their prayers onto a piece of paper and hang them on the walls inside this room. After a while, the walls were covered in prayers and people would rush into the shop, bypass the items for sale in the store and pour out their prayers so they could add them to the walls. This story of people coming to this small room with prayer requests sparked a dream in Carrie and Jeremy, and the idea to build a prayer chapel for people was born.

As Carrie and Jeremy began to plan the prayer chapel, Carrie began to create prayer tags for all of the people that would come into the chapel needing prayer. As Carrie created the tags, she prayed for each person that would use that tag. Before they came, before it was built, the people have been prayed over in faith that their prayers will be answered. Carrie believes that people will return to hang praise tags after they have witnessed the miracle workings of our merciful God in the lives of those people that were led to the chapel out of faith to pray.

The many prayer tags that Carrie made and prayed over.

Chapel windows that Carrie is creating from Jeremy's paintings. Each painting represents a vision, or a dream given to him by the Lord, except the window in the middle. The Jew/Gentile window was not from a vision and will be above the altar at the front of the chapel.

It is just as the scripture says: "Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame." For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile-the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 12:11-13

"Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead." James 2:17

We have faith that He will send many to this chapel and pray in faith for healing and miracles, and we have faith that they will see He is an all-consuming fire and a merciful Father to those who believe and call upon Him in prayer.
